![]() As if somebody had switched to another channel: After a rainy fall suddenly it was winter! It
was a perfect winter: no periods of bad weather disturbed our tours.
Even the long and not always easy-going tour to Kebnekaise (the highest
mountain of Sweden) was nothing but a Unusually many and big reindeer herds were during the whole winter in the mountains close to Lake Altevatn. So an extraordinary moment happened in the beginning of February: an enormous reindeer herd moved silently in the first light of the sun over the ice of Lake Altevatn. Even now during the first days of May are the snow conditions in the mountains still tempting. But then we will look forward to the summer! | (Bjørn) |
